I lived in Sidcup and worked for a short time opposite the the then called Woodman Pub . The horse drawn drays would deliver wooden casks of beer . The horses and the Drayman would share a beer or two . Yes they were happy at there work .
I am now 84 and live in Shropshire . But I still look back with great fondness on my years spent at Sidcup
